Confidex has created a substantial position in the RFID mass-transit market by developing a range of RFID ticket products for ISO14443 compliant systems. These paper and PET ticket products combine high quality production of RFID transponders to converting technology resulting in the RFID market's most cost-efficient offering. The ticket products provide durability for mass-transit applications where ecological values and low-cost are appreciated.
Limited use paper tickets are designed to withstand daily use in single, return or several trips. PET tickets are practical due to good moisture resistance and mechanical durability when their expected life-span is longer than a month, which is typical limit for paper tickets in use.
The paper and PET tickets can be personalised according to customers' requirements. These can include various microchips from leading semiconductor manufacturers, variety of different delivery types (single, fan-fold, continuous web) or printing and encoding services. Currently PET tickets are delivered only in singulated form.
