Confidex SteelBIT ( A variance of Steelwave Micro comply to FSTC )

Confidex has launched a new version of Steelwave Micro this week, called Confidex SteelBIT.

SteelBIT is designed for RFID IT asset tracking applications.

In January 2009, Banking industry’s consortium FSTC (Financial Services Technology Consortium) launched their RFID tagging requirements for data centers, which include tag performance criteria, AND also requirements on how the tags should be personalized.

Confidex SteelBIT is personalized according to these requirements:

· Customer specific EPC

· The same EPC number written on top of the tag’s label

· 2D data matrix showing the same information in machine readable way

· (Confidex logo)

For SteelBITs order, customer must email the EPC list to info(at)ecosensa.com (24 hexadecimal characters listed in .csv or excel format) so that we can do the FSTC compliant personalization for the products.

SteelBIT can be obviously used in the same applications than Steelwave Micro, they are made of same components, but the label printing layout will make SteelBIT to match IT asset tracking applications.

Product Order Code are:

3000164 Confidex SteelBIT FCC Monza3

3000167 Confidex SteelBIT ETSI Monza3

3000168 Confidex SteelBIT JPN Monza3
